Great experience with Jan. He strung two of my racquets while we had some good conversation. Very insightful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Jan has been an incredible influence on my daughter’s tennis journey through Raising a Racquet, LLC. His patience, encouragement, and ability to connect made all the difference—he didn’t just teach her how to play tennis; he helped her build confidence, discipline, and a true love for the game. Under his guidance, she blossomed into a more skilled player and a more self-assured young person. Jan is not only a fantastic coach but also a genuine mentor, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Jan has been coaching me since 2017. He set me up with professional tennis racquet and shoes in his pro-shop. He always places an importance on proper equipment that fits my needs. He also restrings the racquets at his shop, which is super convenient. I was a total beginner when I started taking lessons with Jan and through his coaching style I developed love for the game, confidence, and skills. Whether it’s private lesson or group cardio, lessons are always fun. Jan is very technical and it always amazes me how he sees things that I am not even aware of, such as my grip is slightly off, my position on the court needs to change, or my follow through is not complete. He provides immediate feedback throughout the lessons, even during cardio which is a group setting. He truly cares and wants to see all his players excel and improve. I trust his guidance and coaching for me to continue developing right habits and improve my game.
